A little update...

OK, so I know I haven't been so active on LJ lately, and I really hate that!

The thing is, that my life has been extremely hectic lately. I've been working a 120% job and the three wind bands I'm in have had "gigs" in 7 out of 8 weekends in September and October. To top that, I have been stressed about the Snupin Santa and the Severus Big Bang.

Well, I can now inform everyone that I have handed in my Snupin Santa gift :D yaaay meeee!

The Big Bang is finally taking form, and I hope to have it written in a couple of days. I'm hoping that valkyriekat  would be so awesome to beta it for me... :D (Only if you have the time and energy, hun!)

So hopefully things will calm down a bit from now on and I can finally start some fics that are just up to me ;) Or sortinghatdrabs ... I miss that community!

Well, enough about that.

Just wanted to let people know, so I don't lose all my LJ friends because of lack of posting ;)

And I almost forgot: I'm finally going to a Wizard Rock show!!!! 

I'm going to the Snow Ball in Edinburgh on December 18th and I'm so freaking excited!!!! I get to see and hear The Remus Lupins, Riddle TM, Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons, Siriusly Hazza P and The Black Sisters. It's gonna be totally awesome!!!!! I can't wait!

I'm cheating on my fandom...

OK, I hate to admit it, but I've been cheating on my fandom. I have for a long time been proud to say that I'm fandom monogamous, but in October I wrote my first non-Harry Potter fic...

The reason:

One of my best RL friends lindeluren  (I just convinced her to get an LJ account) is the only one that knows about me writing fan fiction. The only reason I told her was because she's writing too ;) We accidentally found this out in June and have been squeeing about fan fiction ever since.

The thing is, however, that while I'm obsessing over Snape and Lupin and the other HP characters, she's obsessing over Rammstein, and especially Till Lindemann :D She's the master of Till/OFC smut...lol! I think I have now read more Till-smut than I have read Lupin-smut, and I'm not totally convinced that I like the idea of that...HAHA :D (I think Severus still wins, though...)

She's an awesome cheerleader, and I don't think I would have been able to write my Snupin Santa if it wasn't for her. The Snupin Santa was a tough challenge for me to start writing, because I was challenged to write something I really didn't like, and I didn't want to bothervalkyriekat too much about it, because I was sure it was going to destoy her...lol. But this girl's mind is even more twisted than mine and I love her for that! :D

So, when her birthday was coming up I had the idea to write her a fic as a present. So I did. I managed to sit down one night and write a silly little fic for her which I printed out and stuck in her mailbox marked: "Open when alone"

So if you want to read my silly litte story when Till met my friend somewhere, be my guest. This have not been beta read or anything, so you have been warned ;D And my friend's name is not really Lydia. It's only in this fic :D
