Sooooo, I've made a decision about a fandom related issue that has been hanging over my head since like...forever...lol

When I signed up for the severusbigbang I signed up with two things, a fic and a song.

I have never really written a song before, but considering the amount of Wizard rock I listen to, I wanted to give it a shot. And the first verse was actually done by the end of June and thing were looking promising. But then the fall came and RL (I soooo wish that that would mean Remus Lupin, but again...no ;( ) became crazy.

I'm on the verge of throwing my saxophone at the next person who asks if I can play some sort of concert! I have been playing for almost every weekend since august, and when I finally have some free time, my energy is completely gone and I just sit with my laptop staring at it... I can't even focus on reading fics, and I really hate that.

I somehow managed to get the fic for the Big Bang done only 5 days after the deadline. Thank you so much sylvanawood and valkyriekat for your patience!

So I only had the song left. The song is written and only needs to be recorded. And I did actually have the time last weekend (believe it or not) and I actually got to record the pianopart and felt really happy about it. But then it stopped again. I tried to record the guitarpart (which is extremely easy btw) but I just realized that I CAN'T PLAY THE GUITAR! The recording picked up on all the mistakes and weird sounds and amplified them in my ears... so I gave that up and decided to just play more keyboardparts instead.

But after "working" with this song for such a long time I am really starting to hate it... I have never liked the lyrics much, but have always planned to fix them a bit before recording the vocals... But changing the lyrics isn't easy... and the more I read them, the more I hate them.

I wanted the song to be humorous when I signed up, but the song that came to me while playing around with my guitar was this really sad Lily/Severus song...

I'm not saying I have dropped the song entirely, but I have dropped it from the Big Bang, so it buys me some more time.

Now to the question/request

What I really have wanted to do for some time now is to start my own Wizard Rock band. I have no idea how much I'm making out of this, but at least I can say that I have a band and "check out mySpace" ;) And I might end up using this song as a part of my Wizard Rock instead if I can write some lyrics that doesn't make me want to vomit...lol

But in order to start a band, I need a really cool name! And considering there's like 600-700 bands already with awesome names, I have a real challenge choosing one for my own.

And that F-list is where you guys come in :D

I mostly want a really cool Ravenclaw related name, or just something funny/silly that spoofs of something from the Harry Potter books. My favourite characters are obviously Snape and Lupin, but I'm also a huge fan of the Weasleys and Luna.

I have some ideas, but I am totally open to new and awesome names :D

I LOVE WIZARD ROCK and I totally love this song! So I wanted to share it with everyone that accidentally read this journal :D

It's a rap about the Prisoner of Azkaban-book. It's based on Sir Mix-a-lot's 'Baby Got Back' and it WRocks!!!!
My fav part is when Malfoy and Snape enters the rap :) GO SNAPE!!!!
