Pairing: Severus/Remus
Disclaimer: I don't own them, I only play with them so don't sue me!
One Step
“I can't do this, Lupin,” Severus Snape said and turned away from the other man.
Remus sighed. “You always do this, Severus. Every time there's something going one between us and I think we might actually have something, you run away.”
“I do no such thing,” Severus hissed.
“Oh, really?” Remus raised an eyebrow.
“Really,” Severus said determined. “There have never been anything between us, nor will there ever be.”
“Oh, really?” Remus asked again. “Would you call this nothing?” Remus leaned in and kissed Severus deeply.
It didn't take long for the other wizard to respond eagerly and Remus could soon feel something hard press against his leg. Remus grinned widely as the kiss ended. Severus looked flushed.
“So, nothing at all?” he asked mockingly.
“Well...” Severus answered hesitantly.
“Well is good enough for now. We'll get there, Severus. As long as you just take one step in the right direction, I'm happy.”
Remus grinned and walked away from a flustered and extremely confused Severus.
Stutter
“S-s-s-everus, I-I, w-w-won-”
“Whatever you have to say to me Lupin, spit it out!” Snape demanded, his arms crossed over his chest.
Remus looked at the ground. “W-w-wi - ”
“I'm waiting, Lupin,” Severus said annoyed. “You were the one who was desperate to talk to me, now TALK!”
Remus merely stuttered more letters, and Severus couldn't make out what he was trying to say.
“Why is it, Lupin, that every time I agree to talk to you, you turn into a stammering, mumbling moron?”
Remus looked up at the other man first with uncertainty which then turned into determination.
Lips were pressed hastily against Snape's before Lupin stuttered again. “W-w-w-will you go out with me some time?”
